Hello Ms Dooley, it's always a pleasure to see the work of someone who loves to paint. The childlike, naive joy of spreading paint across a welcoming surface is always charming. Details are interesting, but what is the sum of these details? The link to MOCA (why is it MOCA and not MOCAT?) does not provide complete examples. It would have been nice to see how well it all hangs together. (Finding Williamson's work online is work. After ten minutes of searching, I found exactly two!)
Thank you for the link. As for the paintings, I find myself more puzzled than excited. The exhibition doesn't coalesce into a coherent position. And there are no details to consult!
Love love the detail pics !
same, they're like little worlds
thank you for taking photos with those details in mind (and sharing!). always what i look for myself as an artist.
you're welcome! I completely understand, I love detail shots

Thank you Bill! Here's a link to an exhibition Williamson has up in Montreal right now that has some good shots of the entire paintings: https://bradleyertaskiran.com/en/exhibition/public_house/
